Zara`s Home Visiting Foot Care Service covers Orpington, Dartford, Chislehurst, Sidcup and their surrounding areas.  Zara is a qualified and insured member of the BAFH and she trained at the SMAE Institute in Maidenhead which is the oldest and highest commended training institute for Podiatrists, Chiropodists, and Foot Health Practitioners in the UK.

Zara studies and continues with regular CPD training to keep her skills and knowledge up to date and to the standards expected of our profession.  Additionally every 3 years Zara completes an Emergency First Aid At Work Course her last one was 30th March 2021.

Foot Health Practitioners main role is to undertake routine foot care needs like regular toenail cutting, diabetic health checks, toenail fungus, ingrown toenails, hard skin, corns, and callus problems all done by home visits to your door.


When required Foot Health Practitioners can refer patients to their local NHS Podiatry team or private Podiatry clinics and I do Free of charge.  


Each patient is treated with a clean and new set of instruments that have been prepared and sterilized in an autoclave beforehand.

 

New Covid19 Rules are now daily practice and full PPE is worn by Zara and temperature checks and general screening is done before each appointment.   I take 3 Covid flow tests a week and I have had both of my Astra Zeneca vaccine jabs.


A few number of our population refuse the Covid vaccines and that is their choice, My choice is not to treat patients who have refused the vaccine my view isf I have a duty of care for all my patients whom many have severe illnesses, and protecting them is my priority and preventing the spread of the virus to others.
